SounRAB great so far. I'm having my doubts about the quality really being 192 cbr though. Check it out:

If you haven't checked out Forest of Fog you should. It's Ivo's (who is now in Eluveitie) one man project. It's very similar to Dissection, Dawn, and Sacramentum and is great. Would you agree that the quality sounRAB nowhere near 192 cbr on this Eluveitei release? I think it was falsely reencoded or something.
 
Just downloaded and listened to the album. It sounRAB pretty good, but yes, the quality doesn't seem quite like 192. Although I did listen to it on my laptop which has shitty speakers, so it's hard to tell.

Might have to look into Forest of Fog soon too.
 
I found it annoying but anything with the typical grrr...grrr...wah I think I'm hard vocals annoys the piss out of me. The electronic bagpipes were pretty funny. Epic failure of typical subpar metal with added electronic tired folk rolls which blend together to create OMG why in the hell am I listening to this.
 
electronic folk? they use real bagpipes, hurdy gurdy, tin whistle, bombard, fiddle etc, but nice try. and if you don't like the vocals why are you listening to Melodic Death Metal? SounRAB to me like you don't know much about metal at all.
 
Maybe it was the recording that made it sound electronic, or maybe that they are really not very good at playing those instruments. It was still just tired folk rolls put behind typical metal.

I don't know much about metal, don't really care to. I do know what is good and what I would consider plastic. This is plastic with an added dose of folk crap. That's just my opinion though.
