Messaging charges

Has anyone else encountered problems with erroneous charges for messages? I normally only have about 5 messages per month, however this month I was charged for 30, which I know is wrong. Now granted, this only adds up to an extra $3, but if they screw something up every month it adds up. I emailed the customer service & was told this is undisputable.
 
I asked Nextel a while ago to disconect my messaging service so i dont get charged for wrong numbers, and they said that to do that they would have to disconnect voice mail too, I dont know if thats still true today
