i like both.
He performed songs from both when i saw him, but overall i like the "theme" and sound to KIng Diamond stuff better... I suppose that's because that is what i love him for so i'll vote for that over fate.
...Then again fate is great too and a bit more on the heavy side rather than theatrical.
i'll give them a tie as they are both my favorite and he is unbelievable live.
