So there are 3 open-tube Hg manometers.
Suppose the current atmospheric pressure, in each case, equals 1.025 atm.
Bulb A = no height difference, Bulb B = gas pressure 20.0 cm less than atmospheric pressure, Bulb C = gas pressure 29.0 cm greater than atmospheric pressure
(a) What is the pressure in bulb A, in pascals? ANSWER: 1.039x105 Pa
(b)What is the pressure of the gas contained in bulb B? (Specify units-- your choice of torr, atm, Pa or kPa ... )
(c) What is the pressure of the gas contained in bulb C? (Specify units-- your choice of torr, atm, Pa or kPa ... )
Please show work. Thank you!
