I think I remember you asking about this three or four weeks ago about about a different outboard model and year you were trying to swap parts from.
There is only three options you have:
#1. Purchase correct lower unit exactly for your model and year from Mercury marine parts (VERY expensive)
#2. Purchase correct lower unit exactly for your model and year from an aftermarket manufacturer such as GLM or Sierra Marine. (VERY expensive.)
#3. Hunt for the correct lower unit from reputable dealers selling remanufactured lower units (still VERY expensive)
#4. Find a used lower unit by hunting down parts at various marine dealerships or marine service shops. Beware, doing this is very risky as you have no way to knowing if the condition of it is good or not. Looking at it is NOT good enough, it has to be professionally inspected first.
You can keep asking and asking, but you waste your time and effort by doing this. Bite the bullet, suck it up, do it right and buy the correct replacement.
