I have this kicker motor mounted at the end of a swim step, when trolling its a long way from the drivers seat to the motors kill switch if I need to kill it quickly. The kill switch has two wires, one coming in and one going back out of the switch. Will there be any ill effect if I add a few feet of wire to this and make it an external switch mounted on the boat closer for me to reach?
