Hello! I have a mercury black max 200 hp mounted on the back of a Ranger 488VS Camanche, and I just got the starter replaced. I took it out on the CA Delta in 40F weather, and it would not turn over. Later in the day, I put on some ears, and it started right up, and I dropped it in and got a couple hours of fishing in. Why is this? Is it because the motor was cold, and once it warmed up, started? Any help would be appreciated. Thank You!
