Memphis Fats Screen

Hi all,

Great forum, very informative. I am now a regular visitor.:bluethum:

I have a question about the Memphis Fats screens (Welcome to Memphis Shades). I recently purchased a C109 with a quick release screen. Its a good screen but I noticed that the quick release system does not have a lock. I am a little concerned that someone may steal it because it is so quick to release.
Does anyone know if you can lock them on?

Even if they could, the only person interested in that windshield is another 109 owner. And the only people who really know how that release works are other bikers. Its just not worth it, and its hard to imagine another biker stealing windshields, bags and accessories. Its a good way to get shot. Used windshields sell cheap, and as nice as the Memphis Shades is, its at the budget end of the windshield spectrum. I think you're pretty safe, even frostbite is laughing :lol4:.
 
It's a real pain in the arse that everyone has to worry about a few punk ass hooligans who will take from others! :mad: Pretty much everything is "take-able" to a person ready and looking to steal. :fight2:
