Megaman Collection 1 Comming (back?) to DVD.

Hey, I noticed a listing at RightStuf.com for "Megaman DVD Collection 1".

I think this might be just a re-release of the original DVD release of the American series, since they are out of print. Perhaps new cover art? New extra's? Maybe not but, time will tell...

Yeah, I heard this was supposedly in the works in another thread.

Welcome to Toon Zone, Tanooki Kuribo, I'm Yuugi's Black Magician from Daizex!

It must be for the American series, since VIZ has NT Warrior and ADV released the original series. Hopefully they'll give us a sleeker set instead of the unnecessarily massive bricks like the old sets were. Still, I wonder why they're still releasing collections when they could just release the whole series as a 4-disc set.

No, that was all released under the title "Upon a Star" on one DVD, thus that wouldn't have more than one release of it and it wouldn't be worth $30.

This is a rerelease of the first boxset for the original American series. Though, I agree with PC, the entire series COULD just be released in one boxset, but I guess ADV is trying to make all the money they can off of what they have left.

I'm just hoping this could lead to a re-release of the old Street Fighter cartoon. And maybe a 2-pack of the Sonic the Hedgehog movie and something else, dunno what.

I guess I can re-buy Upon A Star if it means I could get Sonic the Hedgehog.

and about the Street Fighter cartoon, it's a loose continuation of the movie, which I loved, so I really want it. fortunatly, the old releases are available for decent prices on Amazon still.

The Street Fighter cartoon was a thousand kinRAB of awful. I blame the movie with Van Damme for being two thousand kinRAB of awful.

Don't believe me?

Lol, never said it was perfect. Another reason, though, is I'd like to get more of the 90's cartoons based on videogames (Have all of he Super Mario Bros. Super Show, Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3, and all the Sonic cartoons on DVD. and 2 seasons of Sonic X.) Now, if only more would be RELEASED.

Well, according to the Amazon.com link, this set is indeed a re-release of the 1994 Megaman cartoon. Apparently they're the exact same box sets as when they were first released on DVD. So if you missed them the first time around, be ready this time!

Finally a 2nd chance to get megaman...I missed out the 1st time a round (I was a severe pinny pincher) But now that Im At that Nostalgia phase in my life...I'll Deffinantly save some money to buy this (& The tick...& Ducktales....etc.)
