Meditation and repressed memories?

Sometimes when I meditate, I get this weird sensation. It goes into me all of a sudden, and the best way to describe it is it makes me feel like a tree (or just reminds me of one for some reason). I know it sounds weird. It's really hard to describe, I just get this sensation that I turn into one. It lasts a couple of minutes then goes away. I tried mushrooms, the drug, one time and I was laying on my bed and it hit me full blown. It was like the bed turned hard, and I would clench my teeth and I felt it really strong. I remember as a kid, one time I was sleeping, going in and out of dreams, and the dreams gave me this "tree" sensation. I am pretty sure I have some kind of repressed memory and I don't know what it is.

How can I explore more into it? I just get the feeling through me and that's it, nothing else really pops into my mind during it. My parents are just as confused as I am.
Doesn't really feel uplifting or frightening, but it creeps me out because I don't know what it is from. I was thinking maybe it was from something associated by being around a tree or something. It could be something entirely different from a tree.
