My dream would be to go to graduate school after I obtain a degree in economics (I'm a senior now), my gpa will be over a 3.0, i will have taken the appropriate math for grad school, calc I,II,III linear algebra. Unfortunately my grades in calculus have been only average, I'm a good undergrad student but the levels of competition in grad education are overwhelming. In all honesty I burn with envy at students who can get A's in advanced math courses. I feel like salieri being jealous of mozart, despite my hard work and skills I have obtained I simply do not have talent. Why do i have so much affinity for a field I will never excel at, it at times has been an obsession for me. Are there mid level schools I can go to? I'm not trying to find the easy way out but I do want to find a way in which I can pursue my dream without being crushed by mathematical superstars.
