I take medicine for rheumatoid arthritis, plaquinil and methatrexate. Could these medicines cause unexplained, sudden sexual urges? This is not a joke question.
I get these sudden sexual urges out of nowhere, very overwhelming and even disorienting to the point that I can't finish what I am doing. They have nothing to do with lust or fantasy, and usually hit me at most inconvenient times. Is this normal, or could the medicines that I am taking be causing these urges? If not the medicines what could it be?
