medication side effect: hot flush or hot sensation

Hi all,

I'm a 36 years old female. About 1.5 months ago, I had chest discomfort and nausea, and was diagnosed with reflux/gerd. Had Tried out different medications prescribed by the doctors. Blood test, x-ray and ECG tests ware okay. Up till now, no endoscopy was performed.

However, after taking those medications, my whole body started to feel very warm, like burning but no sweat. Sometimes, it can be unbearable. Even after stopping those medications, I'm still having this problem.

I suspect those acid suppressor medications might have caused this side effect.

I wonder if anyone here has ever experienced this problem before.
