My husband is very thin and weak all the time.. He went to the Doctor a year ago and they did blood work and called us the next week to tell us everything came back ok and no follow up was made.. This year my husband who still feels sick all the time finally said something has to be wrong and went to a different Doctor in the same office as the old doctor.. She looked at his folder and told him that a year ago his blood work showed that his liver enzimes were high and he should have been sent back for more testing. The new doctor sent him for testing and it came back that he had Hepatitus C. The new doctor told him that if he would have known a year ago then his body might have been able to clear the Hep but now he is having to seek treatment somewhere else. Also I know this is my own stupidity but My husband does tattoo's and about five months ago I used a needle after him. I am now being tested and don't know the results yet. If I would have had any idea a YEAR ago that he had Hep I would have NEVER got a tat with the same needle as him.. Is there anything we can do about this? Was the doctor wrong not to try and find out what was wrong with him?
