I have a friend who is 19 years old and is a college student. She is independent and an Indiana resident and has little income. Is there medical financial aid available for her, because she injured her knee a while ago in a car accident, and needs to have surgery. I've been searching around quite a bit, but I can't find anything. I've been to several websites, but I need somebody with some sort of knowledge about this to help me. Thanks for all your help.
