media sharing on windows vista?

How do u go about sharing vids and music on windows vista? I did it b4, but I forgot it seems (after spending 2.5 months in the hospital). Anyone know how to do this?

I want to make so it someone can access my media over the network without having an account on my main computer. This is for the other two laptops in my house.
