It's truly unfortunate. He's an excellent general, but he fucked up. And he knew it of course. There were no real options for Obama.
As DE said, this makes the war vastly more difficult, and probably nrabroad
worth the effort. Of course, I've never believed there was a point to it anyway. I disagree with most of Obama's policies, but anyone who thinks he was wrong here is too blindly partisan to matter.
I believe so, but as with many things in the government, I'll believe it when I actually see it. Also, even if that is still fixed and does happen, there will still be a lrabroad
of work to do in Iraq that isn't combat related which he'll most likely have to oversee.
