I placed several songs onto a flash drive and moved them from one PC to another to save time from importing. Although some songs play fine, others do not. I have nearly 300 songs that are classified as Unknown Artist and simply will not play. They are MP3 but I get an error message that says "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."
Please tell me what I can download or do to get the files to play on my computer.
P.S. I have tried to play them on Quick time, WMP and audacity but no luck.
