Media Player on Nokia e62

Does anyone know of a better downloadable media player for the nokia e62? Because the one that came with my phone isn't the greatest..

First of all the sound is horrible, and secondly its playlist options are minimal...

Could the headphones that came with it be the main problem as to why the sound is so bad (ie. no bass, low volume)?? Is there better headphones out there that provide the phone with better stereo sound and call functions as well?? or is the main problem the program being used??

Thanks in advance!

The media program is fine for volume control. You can adjust the volume a tad bit using the equaliser feature on the phone. The only problem I've seen with the media player is the memory it eats up. The headphones are probably the problem. I got a cheap set of ear buds with my E61, and I couldn't hear a thing, and people couldn't hear me. I sprang for HS-31 ear buds, and they sound perfect. I can't even turn up the volume all the way without it hurting my ears, on some songs. Also, you can try to decompress the file and play it in real player, but it uses more memory. When you transfer songs to your phone, they are compressed, unless you transfer the file and NOT us the PC suite music player transfer option, and it reduces the quality. I have the compressed files, and it is still too loud! Don't be cheap when you buy your ear buds.

My E62 came preloaded with both Nokia's software and Real Player, and Real Player seems to work better for me also.

Definitely agree about the buds. The ones in the box are pretty bad. But a good set will improve your experience greatly
