Media player for a netbook?

I've been using wmp for a long time now, and I'm about to downgrade to a netbook, so I want something lighter (and less likely to flip out at corrupt files). Basically, I want audio/video, ripping, burning, syncing to external devices, audio/video podcasts downloading (and storing). Bluetooth capability would be nice, but not necessary. I am wanting something that will do the job of wmp and itunes, with the flexibility of vlc, without being any of those. I looked at winamp, but it was way too complicated. I like the format of MediaMonkey, and the interface is pretty user-friendly, but it doesn't do much for podcast downloads and video (despite the plugin). If someone knows how to configure MM better for podcasts and stuff, that'd be great, too. Thanks.
