Hi everyone, there doesn't seem to be a straight forward way to force WMP 11 to recognize a file in its library that's under "Other Media" to be in fact "Video".
I have all the necessary codecs, and when I play the files in question (.mp4), they play fine, using my installed ffdshow audio and video decoders. If they work flawlessly, why won't it categorize them under "Video" then? Is there a way to manually enter this information somewhere so it tricks it into being "Video"?
I want to do this so Media Sharing makes these files available for streaming to XBox 360, because you can't share "Other Media" categorized files.
