media managing software help?

hey i have vista ultimate and am looking at buying a program which can manage my photos and videos which are currently on mini dvd, i mainly need something for the videoa but if it can do photos too it would be good, it needs to be ablo to import the videos (or me add them)and then i need to be able to access them easily , i dont really mind how much i pay aslong as it is good
