Media Disconnected and won't connect to Wireless Router!?

confused

I had a virus on my computer when I was in england so I brought it to a repair shop and it got reformatted. BUT because I didn't have my toshiba satellite CD with me, the guy just put on XP, but none of the toshiba features - because he didn't have any.

SO, when I got back to Canada. I re-formatted my computer with the Toshiba Satellite Product Recovery DVD-ROM, to its 'out of box' recovery.

NOW - my LAN connected works no problem, but I cannot connect to my wirless router. I'm using a D-Link DIR-615 Wireless N Router. Before I reformatted, it worked no problem, but now it says that my media is disconnected when I run an ipconfig.

Yesterday, I ran an ipconfig /renew and ipconfig /release and it gave me an IP address, but no DNS so I flushed the DNS but it still didn't work. All my wires are connected, my wireless button is turned on and now it is saying that its unable to connect to my DHCP server and my request has timed out.....

Can someone help me? I don't want to pay for geek squad! haha PLEASE AND THANKS!

AGAIN, everything worked before i reformatted, so it has to be something I did when I reformatted. I'm not a pro at computers but I know my way around it because I always f*ck technological things up, so i know my way around =)
