Mederma or similar creams

Has anyone used Mederma, or a similar scar-treatment cream, to fade those red acne "stains" left behind by pimples??

How long did it take to see results?

Did it cause you to break out more?

Did you have more success with Mederma (which seems expensive), versus something cheaper like Scar-Zone? Or were they similar?

I haven't tried Mederma or Scar-Zone, but I have been using Palmer's Skin Success Eventone Fade Cream for Oily skin with amazing results. Make sure you get the "Oily Skin" kind if you are still prone to breakouts. I had to order mine online because they only had "regular" in my local drugstores. It's very cheap (About 5-6 dollars) and worth a try.

I, too, could only find the "regular" version in store. I didn't want to order online, so I picked up some Scar-Zone. I'll be giving that a try. I first looked at Mederma and balked at the $28 price tag! Eeekk! So I picked up the Scar-Zone for a third of the price.
