I have a 1998 Malibu and am having some issues with squeaking coming from the back of the car. It squeaks over the smallest of bumps, but doesn't squeak if it is wet. But when I drive when the ground is wet, it feels as if I'm fishtailing.
I got new springs on both the front and back recently, so what do you think?
I'm taking it to a shop in the morning and want to try to get an idea of what is wrong. I don't want to be ripped off, PLEASE HELP! Also, it would be great if you could give an idea of cost too! THANKS!
Just ask if you need further details!

I had a Chev Corvette.
The sway that you experience could be the bushings on a
rear stablilizer link.
The rubber bushing gets wet and is lubricated so it stops squeaking
The cost is not very much to repair. Being ripped off ?????????
If the bushing is the problem -- part is inexpensive but labor $100??

the problem is the car its self , junk that poor peice of metal. get your self a bicyle or a set of roller blades and enjoy it.
