Hoping someone out there might have some advice for me. My husband bought a Supra two years ago. Shortly after, he took it to a "mechanic friend" to have some work done. Im not sure what it needed done but the engine had to be removed. Well, long story short a year and a half later the mechanic still has the car. He won't finish the project and return our Supra to us. My husband has tried whatever he can to get his guy moving on our vechicle, but he will ignore our calls. When we go to the shop in person he has one lame excuse after another. In the meantime, cars with easier projects have come and gone. So, he is working on and finishing other cars that came in well after ours. My husband has a friend who is in the same situation with the same mechanic. What can we do? We've tried hounding this guy, we've tried being nice, we've tried getting angry with him. Nothing is working. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
