So... on going saga, see previous questions.
I bought a ford galaxy 1.9 TDI LX on a 02 plate with 66000 miles on clock.
I have always from the beginning felt a " wobble" from side to side, not a vibration as i pull off.
It is only on throttle.
At high speed this would turn into a horrible almost knocking.
It has been in the garage where i brought it more than its been on my drive way.
It has had break pads and discs replaced, one side of drive shaft replaced, top strut mount replaced.
Finally it got to the point, i could not drive the car over 40mph as it shook to much.
They have just replaced the other side of the drive shaft and it is a %110 better drive than its ever been.
My problem is, i CAN still feel a very slight wobble.
They say they have checked everything known to man around the wheels and tyres and that what im feeling is natural.
Im 35 and been driving since i was 17, i have never had a natural wobble before.
Can it be the budget reinforced tyres he has put on, they are very hard on the road, makes a lot of tyre noise.
Could these make me feel a slight wobble when i pull off and on different accelerations??
This is a side to side feeling not a up and down vibration.
Its been 5 weeks now and i just want to know is this normal??
all wheels have been checked for balance, alingnment, buckels, warps etc etc, or at least they told me they had !!
Also, concerning the drive shaft, he said he replaced the passenger side last week and the drivers side yesterday..
