I just have a simple question about the Shannon- Weiner Index.
After doing all the calculations and getting that final number, what does that number mean?
If the number is higher, does that mean that the biodiversity is higher, or does that mean that biodiversity is low?
What about the Simpsons index? I read on the Wikipedia page that the lower the number is, the higher the biodiversity. Is that true?
