Measuring a water droplet falling?using seconds?

I am doing a science fair experiment and it requires me to measure the velocity of a water droplet falling from a given distant. I will be using a pipet to create a water droplet from a distant from the ground, then my partner will measure the time with a stop watch.

I am measuring it in second intervals

What would be the most effective and accurate way to do this?

Please dont tell me to use any formulas because i willl be doing that AFTER the experiment
