Me and my girlfriend were caught stealing a bike, i got charged with theft

under $5000 and she got diversion? me and my girlfriend took these two really nice bikes a couple weeks ago sitting outside of a store, she posted them on the internet to sell and unfortunately the police found it on the website, all in all a very stupid mistake, now my question is they arrested me and charged me with posession of stolen property and theft under $5000 and since i was with her when i did the crime they put a non association between us, shes 15 and im 17 she turns 16 next week, im just wondering how long this non association can go on for seeing how she is my girlfriend if both of us wanted to be together and let the judge know this is there a good chance they will drop it or no? and btw i live in canada so people who know americas law probally wont help, any help given is very appericated im very confused about this whole mess.
 
All i gotta say is damn. Well for the most part when 2 loving people have a non association stamp they usually get put back in jail because there stupid to show there love at home or private areas. Ive seen it lots of times with people i know they are always in the public and get into more trouble and the cops find out about the non association clause and back to jail they go. So keep it private til things blow over. Now u ask how long. Its usually how long the case takes and then the probation. If you get 1 year probation then its probably is 1 year non assosiation. Til then be cool.
