me and my girlfriend had sex and her parents want to charge me.?

the age of consent in Michigan is 16 and I'm 16 and i had sex with my 15 year girlfriend her parents say either I don't talk to her or get charged...can they do that?.....and is there anyway i can get around getting in trouble and talk to her?!
 
Yep unless you want to be Bubbas new friend you better stop talking with her. She is under the age of consent so her parents have every right to have you charged.
 
It's not up to the parents to charge you. All they can do is go to the District Attorneys office & complain. It's the DA's decision if charges should be filed. If you're 16 & she's 15, probably nothing will happen as far as the law goes.
