Police in a Washington, D.C. suburb have arrested a man for allegedly making "significant threats" to his employer, including a warning that "I'm a joker and I'm gonna load my guns."WUSA-TV reports that Prince George's County police arrested the man, who was in the process of being fired, after a 36-hour investigation.
The Associated Press identified the suspect as Neil Prescott, of Crofton, Md.
Prince George's police say the Pitney Bowes company had reported getting "significant threats" in two phones calls from a suspect about coming back to work and harming people..
In one of the calls, police say, the man allegedlywarned:"I'm a joker and I'm gonna load my guns and blow everyone up."
WUSA-TV reports that police recovered about 25 firearms at the suspect's house, including semi-automatic rifles and handguns.
Police say the suspect was wearing a t-shirt that read: "Guns don't kill people. I do."
The Washington Post reports that the man worked for a Pitney Bowes subcontractor and has not been on company property in more than four months.
