Which of these two is the best bang for your buck? 04-05 MSM /w 15-30k miles for 12-15k or an AP1 s2000 /w 50-70k miles for 11-14k.
The Mazda seems like it will have lower maintenance costs, but they both seem relatively cheap, so I am not really concerned about that. I really like the fact that the Miata only has 20k miles, and is turbo in stock form, but they are just so freaking small, its kind of scary. I like the interior of the s2000 a lot, but the miles kind of have me stepping back. I don't want to get it, and than have to start replacing odds and ends over the next few months.
My intent with either car is just a fun DD to replace my Civic. I will do some modifications, but nothing mind boggling. I would like to do a couple track days here and there, as well as a few auto-x events, but keep in mind I am not trying to smash records, strictly for fun. My main driving though will be on public roads, mostly back roads, which is why I am looking for something based more on handling than raw speed.
I know the s2000 is faster, but like I said before, that's not really my focus.
I am 22, and have a clean driving record. I am assuming the s2000 would cost more to insure.
