mazda, toyota, or honda?

i'm about to get my first car, and i have narrowed down my list of possible cars i might get.

either:
mazda3
toyota corolla
honda civic

that's my list, and i just want to know what your opinion is about all of them and why. thanks
also maybe a nissan
 
Personally id tell u to go with a scion tc. Ive had mine for two or three years and it was my first car. its had no problems at all and looks awesome and has a great aftermarket product line going for it if your into that. Other than that id say the mazda 3. The civic is way overrated and has gone down in recent years and the corolla jus semms to soccer momish to me.
 
mazda look better but is not as reliable as toyota or honda

honda and toyota are very reliable

so its really your choice between those to
 
my mom has the corolla...and it is okay. great on gas and stuff but
really plain and just ughh. not a great car to show off to ppl. but is pretty reliable i must say.

my aunt has a nissan maxima and likes it pretty good. it is super fast but gas isnt very good AT ALL if you are looking to save money there.

personally...mazda is made by ford and i HATE fords because they brake down like crazy. but they are super cute. thats just preference.

out of your list...i would say the honda civic. great on gas. very reliable. sporty and cute. good driving car. and a great car all around.

i just got my first car and it is a hyundai tiburon and i LOVE it. you should consider them. and also try looking at the scion tc, toyota celica, and a chevy cobalt coupe. they are personal favorites.
and im 16 too...so i know what i am talking about. :)

If you are going new, they are all on the same looks level, but the civic is definately a little cooler, especially the si. It also performs better(again especially the si). The corolla is way to common and owned by every mom in the world. The mazda is a little girly. It seems that every girlat my highschool has one. Thes civic is by far the most reliable also. To me, it would be an obvious choice, but choose what you want.
 
The Mazda 3 would be your best bet. Its more stylish, and more fun to drive than the other two, not to mention its just as reliable, has a better interior, and is cheaper.

The Corolla has a soulless drive to it, while the civic is overpriced and overrated.

The nissan sentra has really stiff handling, so if you're going for nissan, check out an altima.
