Hi there had my mazda rx8 for a while now its been perfect up until last night. was driving home and it stalled at some lights.
Got it moving again but seemed sluggish in 2nd it wont go above 30 and starts getting really juddery around 3000 revs.
out of gear it physically wont rev above 6000 and in 6th on the motorway with a good tail wind it will get up to 80. theres no acceleration and above 40mph you may as well make a cup of tea waiting for 50mph.
the engine coolant light flicks on occasionally but checked last night and the levels are fine. also the engine temp is constant as is oil pressure etc.
checked the oil level and that looks fine.
any ideas?
