your gas will not affect fuel economy, and air filter just gives power, truly I feel bad for you having a RX8 it is a wankel (rotary engine) it was never good on gas in the first place, and dont expect your apex seals to last longer than 100,000km's

Will a cold air intake increase MPG?
Can these engines use Ethanol? Or just premium/super gasoline?
