I'm 18. And looking at finally getting my own car, one that I don't have to spend tons of money on or share with my sister.
I'm currently looking at a 1985 Mazda RX7 Turbo.
Recently had a new import engine and gearbox put into it.
And the add says $6,800 (negotiable)
Is this a decent price? The car is clean and comes with complete sound system and exhaust system also.
It's a 2-door. (unfortunately)
Manual (which I prefer).
How long should I plan on keeping a car at my age? 5 years? 10 years? Does it depend?
Will this car be reliable for that long?
Another thing I'm worried about is that it's a 2-door with only two seats. Has anyone found this to be a problem at all?
If anyone can give me some tips on major things to look for cause I want to do it without the help of my boyfriend so it's a secret (And yes, it will be all of my money)
