Maxda switched the design of their injectors from a centered locator on th eelectrical connector to an offest locator between May and June 1987. The '87 motor I pulled from my RX7 had the center pinned injectors while the '88 engine I installed had the offset pins. The wiring harness on the 88 was missing so I used the wiring harness from the '87. Does anyone know of difference between the two injectors? The Mazda dealer was unable to tell me if they were different only that the design was changed.
