Mazda RX-8 Torque, is the pull good?

+ im looking for a little kind of coupe like this which is cheap and kinda quick, it has the looks and some cool features which i want, but i want to feel a little bit of a pull too.
One of the two mazda versions have torque of 156lb ft @ 5750rpm with power of 240bhp @ 8200rpm would you feel the "pull" when u put your foot down much? or would it pull at any stage as it does like 0-60 in 6.4 seconds which i don't understand for a 1.3 Litre engine. Anyways im more interested in the actual pull if any that the car can give you, that adrenalin rush?
 
It does 0-60 in 6.8 seconds. 156 ft/lbs of torque is weak. That means you will not feel any pull or anything like that. That car is terrible off the line because it has no torque. It does okay from a roll, but the car looks a lot faster than it actually is. Even Mazda has faster cars in their lineup...see Mazda6 Speed and Mazda3 Speed. They would outright punish an RX-8
