So I'm selling my 1997 BMW 328is for a 2004 or 2005 Mazda RX-8. The reason is because that BMW is emptying my wallet and is constantly in the shop. It gets very inconvenient for me being that I have to commute to school and I'm always out of the house due to work and school. So I'm looking into spending a bit more and buying a Mazda RX-8. I know the Rotary engines are expensive to build so I'm curious if it's a hassle to own an RX-8 much less pay for the repairs on that engine. Are there any RX-8 owners out there that can give me an honest opinion about their ownership? My main deal with buying a Mazda is that I don't want to own it for 4 months and put over $3000 of repairs into it. Can an RX-8 owner help me out here? Thanks!
Disregarding the fact that this car is rear wheel drive, I am also curious to see if there is an alternative to this car that's AWD? I live in Colorado so I have to deal with commuting in the snow.. Not fun.
