Mazda Mx6 Can This Be True?

Ok im kina living out one of my childhood dreams with this one. But my first car was a 1993 Mazda MX6 base. I know its not the fastest model but to a 16 year old boy it was like a porsche lol. Anyway I had allot of plans for that car but had a minimum wage job & couldn't afford any good parts. Fast forward 5 years later I seen one on CL that needs word but it runs. Its a 1993 Mx6 LS a step up from what i had. He's only asking 1,000 which is great but im kina skeptical about the millage. Its looks like its been used a bit but only has 69,000 mile on the car. I couldn't believe it, my question is what should i check for to see is this really true. Also what has my real skeptical is that the bumper on both ends look like its been kina in a accident. I suggest not buying one ever again... mx6's and probes are garbage, let them fade away please.
