I'm looking at buying a new/newer car. I've narrowed it down to the Mazda MX5 or the MX6. I would love the V6 power of an MX6 (Australia Spec) but don't know about the front wheel drive system. They're cheaper to buy but are more mechanically complex than the 4 cylinder MX5, meaning more $ spent on maintenance. MX5's are rear wheel drive but are nowhere near as fast, and are also more fun, but not as practical (convertible, 2 seats etc).
What are your opinions on the cars? Would anyone be able to share some experiences relating to them?
