Mazda Mx3 Engine, and Tranny Swap?

Hi I have a base model 1993 mx3 that I would like to do a complete engine and tranny swap I was wondering if a 95 Mx3 engine and transmission would fit like complete plug and play or would i need a new harness? I'm pretty sure that both are SOHC 1.6 liter engines but am not positive. Thanks in Advance
