I have my MX-6 93 and i know this cars have a crapy distributor, But i did the HEI Module (a.k.a. the "Joe Bialy $20 Ignitor Fix") on it, but my car is a 4-cyl and i dont know if that will matter since i cant find my repair manual to see if the wires are the same. it has problems starting but when it does i wont have any problems. it only has a "kicking" feeling like if i was pressing and releasing the gas pedal, please help me with this problem, i have adjusted the idle "screw" and the distributor timing and no mater what i do, it still got this kicking problem. may it be an injector or fuel pump problem? this kicking problem started when my distributor went bad and i took it to the mechanic and he replaced the distributor, but at that time the shaking was at low revs between 0-1200. and i know that mechanic didn't do a good job cause first he thought it was my fuel pump.
