Mazda MX-6 Horn doesn't work?

I have a 1994 Mazda MX-6 and the horn won't work. The alarm on it, though, DOES and it uses the horn for it, but the horn itself won't. Being a girl, I don't know much about cars & my mechanic isn't answering his phone. I'm wondering if it's something fixable without having to take it to the shop.
Please help!
