I just found my head gasket is leaking, is it hard to change the head gasket on the 1.6l 4cy and also what is the difference betwwen the head gasket and the valve cover gasket, and dont be so mean, im not mechanically inclined!!!!
 
Valve cover gasket are only for the valve cover. It is where you pour your engine oil in.

The head gasket is where the ENGINE and the HEAD (valves, etc.) meets (not the head and valve cover).

So from the top you have
(1) valve cover
(2) valve cover gasket
(3) head
(4) head gasket
(5) engine

NO they are NOT for the first timer to fix.
