Mazda Mpv 2001 Worth?

hi, i would like to thanks you for look at this topic.

I was involve in a accident few days ago, that i was hit by another car. my car is a 2001 mazda mpv dx model, and only ran about 89000 KM's. .
now the insurance company icbc, is offering a total lost and given the price of 8000 dollar plus tax. so now my question is is this a fair price for me to settle on?

the 8000 canadian includes the 12% canadian tax.

Go to kelly blue book and punch in all the information you know to be true about your vehicle before it was wrecked. It will give you several values for the vehicle. Be sure to pay attention to the private resale value (not the trade in value), this will give you a second opinion on the value of your car.
