Alright, I have a 1991 Mazda MX-5 Miata (278k miles - Awesome right?). I've recently had a lot of difficulty shifting into gears while driving. I have to pump the clutch a few times before being able to get into gear. It's definitely the hardest when i'm stopped at a light. The car will start to go forward and stall if I don't pop it out of gear, while moving it's a little easier to shift. This lead me to check the clutch master cylinder. I checked and added fluid (it was low), but the problem persisted. I also noticed the master cylinder is leaking. So I'm guessing that what the problem is. My two problems are...I need detailed advice on the steps to follow to replace the Master Cylinder. I also plan on replacing the Slave Cylinder while I'm at it. The other instruction I need is how to properly bleed the system. Do I bleed after I've installed the new parts? Help please!
Obviously I'm doing this before I spend money on a repair manual (which I'm sure I'll eventually purchase), but I'm mainly looking for tips or links to videos or instruction. Smart alecs need not answer!
