I'm looking to buy a car. I found a really nice Mazda 3 i for 5,000.... however, it has 170,000 miles on it. How reliable is this car? Do u think its bound to breakdown any moment? Obviously the dealer said the motor is in great shape. It drove well. He orginally has it priced for 8 but since my friend's dad knows him and i only have 5 to spend.. he'd give it to me for that. Its an automatic. And the guy said that the miles are so high because a lady in her 40s was driving about an hr to work one way, so they are mainly highway miles. Just wondering if this is a good deal or not. There isnt much to get out there for 5, so getting a 2005 car would be nice... i do like it....but the number of miles scares me. So if someone out there is good w/mazda's or owns one or has expierence or whatever you may know to help, please share!!
