I own a 1989 Mazda 929 which is great...except that both front exterior door handles have broken making it impossible to open either of the front doors from the outside!
Because of the age of the car and also my location (Malaysia) I am finding it impossible to find any replacements - new or used. Is it possible to fit different door handles to this model or can anyone suggest how to solve this problem, please?
The original design is very poor (surprising in a car of this quality generally) in that the handles are connected by just two plastic location points. Surprised they lasted as long as they did, actually!
